"Sam's Club" improves civilisation ??
Strange though it may seem, having the first wholesale club in Cayman open up has been a real enhancement to quality of life for those of us living on this small island and dealing with (import duty and shipping) enhanced pricing every day.
The newly opened "Priced Right" store has been opened by the Foster family and is next to Foster's Food Fair by the airport. Now, if only I lived in a house rather than a condo I could store stuff in a chest freezer in the garage... oh well, can't have everything !

Priced Right just opened a few weeks ago. No affiliation with Walmart, BJs or anyone else... but Caymanians tend to fly up to Miami every so often and descend on BJs in Hialeah to stock up on things in bulk... so we are used to such shopping.
Yes, the prices are higher at the store in Cayman, but then you don't have to pay the $400 airfare, car hire, hotel and excess baggage on the flight back :)
Besides, the guy running it is my neighbour and a great guy to boot, so I support his business !
