Congratulations to Cliodhna McGowan (the journalist who wrote the story...and that is Clee-own-ah) on her alliterative headline writing skills.
I am really proud of all our staff at The Reef, but I am most happy that the words in teh story come from our owners and guests, not from myself or anyone else who works here at The Reef. Those of us who work here believe it to be a very special place, and I am so happy that those who own and stay here also feel the same way.

One small clarification... we weren't just the first resort with timeshares to re-open, we were the first resort to re-open after renovations... period. Credit where due :)

Nice article! As owners who bought a week during original construction, we prayed for the safety of the Reef's leadership and staff's safety! We faithfully watched Ivan's track, and knew it was a nightmare storm.
It truly is time to say thank you to the leadership, the resort team, and the repair teams that pulled it off on what we consider a remote part of the island.
