Not sure if you or your peers at CITA have any pull with NWA but it appears that they have not yet reinstituted their seasonal Wednesday and Friday non-stop flights out of Detroit for the upcoming winter/spring travel season. NWA has flown these routes on these days for years and now it appears they only are offering Saturday service.

NWA does fly direct to Grand Cayman from Minneapolis during the winter season.
